Our Visions
Transform learning by providing a destination where people can come to discover their learning preferences, gaining knowledge of ‘how they optimally learn’ and then be able to obtain hyper-personalised learning material for the most valuable in-demand skills that matches their personal preferences as well as being delivered in a way optimised for the context and environment the individual is learning in. This will reverse the current methods of one-size-fits all learning content being guided, restricted and in some cases unconsciously-bias based on the trainer/experts decision filters and behaviour preferences.
Where it began
It all began on a trip to the UAE, with a conversation overlooking the inspiring landscape of Abu Dhabi. Lee Groombridge and Lee Mallon, fresh from writing two groundbreaking books—one on human behaviour modelling, the other on AI digital doppelgangers—found themselves deep in discussion comparing how AI "hallucinates" data and how humans create internal representations of the world around them. This conversation sparked an idea.
With Groombridge’s expertise in human behaviour modelling and Mallon’s expertise in AI, the two Lees realised they had a unique opportunity to bridge their knowledge. Drawing on their entrepreneurial experience from start-ups and scale-ups, they envisioned a future where learning could be hyper-personalised using AI. The goal was simple: to accelerate skill acquisition and ensure that the knowledge humans gain today remains useful and fundamental in an evolving, AI-driven world. This vision would later become YALPOP, a platform designed to revolutionise the way we learn.
